This plan utilises coaching experienced developed both on and off the bike by the Dig Deep Coaching team. It will provide structure to daily training on the bike whilst developing a personal understanding on how to train. As the weeks progress you will start to feel the benefits physically on the bike coupled with increased confidence in this new found progression through structured coaching.

So Who Is This For?

This plan is aimed at cyclists who wish to take on a Sportive and wish to maximise the time to train each day. Perhaps you have never undertaken an event of this length before or know how to best prepare, this plan will take out the guess work. A good base fitness is needed to take on this plan with some consistent cycling in the 3 months leading up to starting. If you have been riding your bike or exercising 3 times a week and have previously completed sportive events in the last couple of years then this plan is for you. It will help you improve fitness, become leaner and increase endurance. A new found confidence and determination will make the event a fantastic experience for you.

How Much Time Will The Plan Take Up?

The plan varies week to week with WEEK 1 being the shortest at a total of 5hrs 25min and the longest is WEEK 8 & 9 which sees an increase to 9hrs on the bike. The average duration is around 7hrs a week. These plans will help you structure your training around lifestyle and work/family commitments so each session will count towards your progression and preparation for the target event.
