Since 2011, after graduating University.
Second year of University while studying Politics & Sociology, initially joined the Cycling team then took up Running, and attempted to Swim shortly after!
Be consistent with the training, don't underestimate the importance of the basics: sleep, body management and nutrition. A great quote that I continually emphasise to athletes: "Recovery is an integral part of overall training and practice, so that it must be applied with the short and long term goals constantly in mind." (Siff, 2000)
Understanding that development is a jig-saw puzzle, you must continually strive to put all the pieces together. Performance isn't an overnight phenomenon!
