Road, but have dabbled in the odd TT. 

How long are on the bike?

Hurts me to say some 30 years...and some.

How did you first get involved in cycling?

As a young kid cycling to and from a pocket money job - I used to time myself to see how quick I could complete the route (s).

Achievements on the bike:

Placed 24th for my age group in the Fausto Coppi Gran Fondo - Cuneo.

What teams have you represented in the cycling world?

Hastings and St Leonards, Eltham Velo - now looking for an Italian one!!

What one piece of advice would you give to someone new to cycling?

Embrace hills, don't shy away from them, you will learn to love them and they will make you a better cyclist in the long run.

What do you think are the key characteristics that make for a great cyclist?

The ability to suffer - greatly, determination, discipline and self confidence.
