Cyclocross Intermediate 10 Week Plan

This plan utilises coaching experienced developed both on and off the bike by the Dig Deep Coaching team. It will provide structure to daily training on the bike whilst developing a personal understanding on how to train. As the weeks progress you will start to feel the benefits physically on the bike coupled with increased confidence in this new found progression through structured coaching.

So Who Is This For?

This plan is ideal for a range of Cyclocross riders who race ‘Cross and want to maximise their time available to train in order to achieve their goals during upcoming events. A good base fitness is required with consistent training over at least 6months prior to undertaking this plan. If you have been riding your bike or exercising 4-5 times per week and competing in events in the past couple of years then this is the plan for you.

The plan will increase your personal fitness and will aid weight loss helping you achieve your goals in Cyclocross events. Many of the structured sessions will help improve ‘Cross specific fitness and increase power coupled with providing great confidence, motivation and drive to compete at a higher level than you thought possible.

How Much Time Will The Plan Take Up?

The weekly durations vary depending on the sessions involved with achieving each weekly goal. The average duration is around 10hrs a week. The plan will help base your training around lifestyle and work/family commitments whilst ensuring you are getting the most out of each day and individual training session.

What Do I Need?

A Cyclocross bike plus a set of slick tyres (or road bike).
